Doing something for the first time is super exciting and might even result in a future hobby, opportunity or success. The thing is, trying something you have never done before can be a little scary, but that is no excuse at all. In fact, I recommend you to try something you have never done before just for the fun of it, or for the risk – well, maybe don’t jump off a cliff but you get what I’m saying.
If you have an opportunity, why not take it? If you’ve always wanted to learn something new, just learn it. Or if you have a great idea of how you can help save the environment, implement it. There is always a solution or way to do something, because it is all possible. And after all, there is no harm in trying.
The first step is to decide that you’re gonna do something new. Then, if you’re scared of it, accept the fear, and do it anyways. You probably wont absolutely love everything new you try, but would you rather do it anyway or regret not trying at all in the end?
I just got my divers certificate 2 days ago. I wasn’t sure if I even wanted to start diving because of all the risks and it was new and unknown to me. Lets face it – I was scared of doing something new. At the same time I had this excitement and longing for letting go of my every day routine and switch it up a little. Plus all the cool stuff I would see under water. Now that I have completed the course, I have to say it was all worth it and I am so glad I did it. I know so much more, have experienced more and I saw things which I would’ve never thought I’d see.
This taught me that I should definitely do more new things as I never know what I will get from them, despite my fears :)
