I recently came across a video about Carly Fleischmann, an autistic teenager who is unable to speak, yet found a way to communicate with her family and the outside world through typing letter for letter.
Now, the inspiring thing about this is, that people thought that she would be this girl with no voice for her entire life. No one really knew what she wanted, how she felt like, why she was doing the things that she was doing. They judged her on how she was on the outside, but didn’t realise, that on the inside she is just like anyone else. So, now she has her own book called “Carly’s Voice”, a blog, facebook page and forum, where she helps parents in similar situations with their own children. She has become an inspiration. She shines, no matter her situation. She makes the best out of it and therefore lives her life to the fullest.
Be grateful for what you have, and if she can do it, then you can, too. You have a voice, too. Do something with it and inspire the world. Do something meaningful and make people smile. That’s how a positive change in you and the world starts :)
