How I Have Been A Game Changer

Wow, I don’t remember the last time I posted on my own blog…it has been a while. Being a student with hundred other things to do can be slightly stressful, especially with my exams coming up in a month! However, I’d like to tell you about some really cool stuff that has happened lately, and accomplishments I have achieved.

As the head of the pastoral student leaders in my school, my team and I organised Happy Week, a week filled with happiness, positivity and kindness. And it was an awesome success. This being the first time a positive initiative took place in school, people were unsure about it in the beginning, but towards the end, we counted many more smiles and laughs. Not only did students enjoy themselves – but teachers, too.

What did we do? We had 5 differently themed days – Make A Friend Day, Happy Tuesday, Rainbow Day, Hug Day and Potluck Day. There were cool activities every day, and on Rainbow day, we had a huge flashmob. So yeah, this week of school was especially happy :)

On top of that, I have started writing for The Incitement, another positive initiative and company who are dedicated to helping people grow. And last month, I was a speaker at their incitement event. I spoke about being a game changer, and my story. It was my first time really speaking in front of a huge crowd like that and I absolutely loved the feeling!
